Mortar Board Awards Class Progress Cup At Westhampton

Mortar Board awarded the class progress cup to the Sophomore Class at the final Westhampton chapel. Barbara DeJarnette and Julia McClure shared sophomore honors, with Kate Peterson winning freshman honors. The ceremony highlighted growth in Athletics elections the Song Contest convocation and other college events.

American Student Union Plans Forum Across Three Campuses

The American Student Union will host a final open forum of the year next Thursday at 7 30 P M in William and Mary Extension. Dr Moore of Virginia Union University will discuss a New York play and connect it to the theatre movement, inviting all to attend and participate.

Board to Combine Richmond and Westhampton Magazines

The Board of Publications approves uniting the Richmond College Messenger and Westhampton College literary magazines into a joint publication named The Messenger. Editors and staff roles will be appointed from both schools with costs shared about 60 percent by Richmond and 40 percent by Westhampton, first issue due next semester.
