Kathryn Connor Elizabeth Cornwell Luise Cowherd Mary Ellen Stephenson and Florence Marston were named by the chapter to uphold leadership scholarship and service standards with Marston elected president for 1996 96.

The Richmond College Glee Club staged a May 11 performance of Romeo and Juliet at the Luther H. Jenking Greek Theatre. Fred Laughan as Romeo and Frank Nunnally as Juliet led a strong cast with Sam Babby, Stuart Ullman, Ed Canada, Carrington Paulette, and Curtis Haug in major roles.
