The Richmond College Glee Club directed by Alton Howell performs its first campus concert tonight at 8 in the Playhouse. Brooks P. Shetter of Richmond a third year University of Richmond Law School student won a $100 prize as the winner of the Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition for the best essay on Copyright Law at the law school banquet last Saturday. He topped entrants from seventy six other law schools with his paper judged by a panel including Lewis Williams Oscar Shew make J Randolph Tucker and George Allen Sr. The Burkan Competition honors the copyright law specialist known for his interest in composers and authors of musical works. Shetter is chancellor of the McNeil Law Society.

Senior class president remains to be announced. vice president Jean Neasmith defeated Dot Harshbarger, Marian Yaney is secretary over Frances Wiley, and Mary Owens toped Martha Lillian Beam and Jeanne Huffman for treasurer. Junior class leaders include Betty Ann Petsinger for vice president, Norma Palmer as secretary, and Louise Sheffield as treasurer. Phi Alpha tops campus in scholastic averages
Phi Alpha Fraternity posted the highest scholarship coverage for the second straight term with an average of 1.6187 at the University of Richmond. Phi Kappa Sigma followed at 1.1577 and Phi Gamma Delta at 1.1498 with 11 fraternities ranked in the complete list. The campus average was 1.01 and the all fraternities average 0.8844.
