David Hawk, an antiwar draft resister with support from Eugene McCarthy, George McGovern and Mark Hatfield, plans a visit to Westhampton College as part of the Visiting Lecture Series. A firm date is not set, but Hawk said he could come virtually any time this spring.

IFC Abandons Rush Grant Subsidy Plan
The Interfraternity Council voted to drop plans to ask Riche mond College Student Government Association for a one dollar per student grant to subsidize rush activities for 1969 70. President Lance Wood cited four objections including constitutionality open membership and rights concerns and potential SGA control. Council leaders warned they would oppose and possibly veto any appropriation. IFC President Allyn Straus said the group does not want SGA funds if that means SGA control.

Senior Class Elects Leader In Run-Off Victory
Independent Greg Daugherty a Dallas Texas junior won the senior class presidency after a run-off on Tuesday with 71 votes to 5A for rival Ken Elsea. Daugherty also tied for 47 votes in regular elections April 27 and will be aided by Charley Bova vice president Jay Berger secretary Ward Kerr treasurer Mike Grissom senator Berndt Bohm and John Waddell delegates to the Legislative Commission.
