Student elections show Miller and May win class posts

Glenn Miller Gerry Daltan and Ronnie May head the student body for 1964 65 with Miller and May winning as independents while Daltan ran for the Student party. Senior class results include Miller 101 Parr 25 Layton 48 and Adams Norman Carpenter Moore Payne victories in officer races.

Two Seniors Plan Recitals at Keller Hall

Miss Elizabeth R. Cheyney, senior at Westhampton from Arlington majoring in music education, will present a recital in Keller Hall at 7:30 pm on May 11 with Miss Suzanne Kidd, Westhampton faculty member, as accompanist. Miss Beverly N. Neale, soprano from North Augusta, 8, C, will perform Wednesday at 4:50 pm in Keller Hall with Miss Barbara Gardner as accompanist.

IFC Donates to Books USA Campaign Across Campus

The Interfraternity Council and other campus groups support the Books USA drive with donations including $100 from the IBGC. Richmond College juniors give $56 and the college shop contributes as well. May 12–14 is set for a Westhampton collection drive under YWGA guidance led by Beth Hooker with skit events and door to door canvassing to raise funds for a book for every student.

WCRC Elects New Officers for Coming Year

WORG named William B. Barly Jr. station manager and music director. Edgar V. Shram became business manager for 1964 65. T. G. Williams School of Law president Alton Williams named vice president. George Jennings elected secretary and Cecil Jones treasurer. Board includes 10 faculty members and five students.

Alumni Day at Richmond Offers Swim, Luncheon, Baseball

University of Richmond marks Alumni Day with 27 visiting classes, pool swim at Westhampton College, a 12:30 luncheon in Millhiser Gym, and a 2:30 baseball game against William and Mary. The day features a 1620 IBM computer demonstration, faculty recognitions, medals for seniors, a barbecue, and a 7:30 pop concert in Cannon Memorial Chapel.

Alumni Day Concert by UK Band and Glee Clubs

Returning alumni will be entertained tomorrow at 7 50 p m by the University band and the Westhampton College Glee Club in the chapel. The program includes Renaissance suites and works by Gibbons Ammerbach Corelli Weber Bach Randall Thompson and Williams with solo and group numbers directed by James Hustis and Jack Jarratt. Betty Cheyney from the University Choir sings selections from My Fair Lady and the group closes with Brigadoon Suite.
