UofR Seniors to Be Alumni Lunch Guests
Westhampton Richmond College and Business School seniors will attend the University Alumni-ae Day luncheon tomorrow at 1 p.m. Men dine in Millhiser Gym while alumnae meet in Westhampton dining rooms. Activities include a Wood Memorial dorm tour, Boatwright library, a panel on This Is Your Westhampton, William and Mary game, and a joint banquet with Dr Solon B Cousins speaking on Conserving a Noble Tradition. A portrait by David Silvette will be unveiled. Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. at W.C. and 11:00 at Millhiser.

Westhampton College marks Moving Up Chapel Daisy Chain and Senior Night on May 17. Seniors process at 11 30 am in Gannon Memorial Chapel then move to their new sections. Sophomores pick daisies at sunrise and perform the Daisy Chain in Greek Theatre at 4 30 pm. Big and Little Sisters exchange gifts after.

Philologians Win Ry Tri Society Honor in Debate
A tri-society speaking contest last Monday among Philologians Mu Sigma Ro and Philo logian societies used a five minute prep and three minute extemporaneous speeches drawn from Business Week. Judges from the Law School scored eleven delivery techniques for a 55 point max per speaker. Philologians won by one point, led by Roy Burnett Bill Speer and Joel McGurk with 108 points, Mu Sigma Ro totaling 107 8 0, Mitchell’s Kenneth Burke and Rush Loving each 39, Shelby Broughton forfeiting with 30 for a first place tie.

May Day Carnival Opens Westhampton College Event
Westhampton College prepares a May Day program with a 2:30 carnival on the green featuring a puppet show coronation lantern parade and ballet Cinderella in Greek Theatre. Macon Moring and Joyce Garrett star as Cinderella and prince with a full campus pageant and Queen's Ball at Keller Hall at 9 pm. Tickets and box suppers are sold by student groups.

University Band Family Weekend Concert Ends with 250 in Attendance
The University of Richmond Band capped Family Weekend with its annual concert on Saturday night at 8 15 p m drawing about 250 parents and students. The program mixed Bach and Mozart with Rozsa and Persichetti and featured solos by Bill Welstead Claude Estes and Bill Colonna. John R White awarded the John Phillip Sousa Awards to Ronald Ward and Claude Estes.
