Dartmouth Drops Ponie Texts From Two Languages Courses

Rare Texts in Math Exhibit At University of Richmond
A collection of rare mathematical books, including first editions, will be shown at the University of Richmond from May 5 to 7. The items came from George A. Plimpton’s holdings gathered worldwide and include a Boethius manuscript, hornbooks, 1658 English arithmetic, 1728 American arithmetic, early Latin algebra manuscript, Campanus geometry translation to Latin, and J Johnson’s Civil War era arithmetic.
