The University of Richmond observes Pan American Week from April 11 to 15 with a Keller Hall exhibit on Latin American culture presented by Spanish classes. A Spanish film Carmen de la Triana screens April 12 in the physics lecture room at 7:30 pm, starring Imperio Argentine, Rafael Rivelles, and Manuel Luna. The grand finale Saturday features El Picaro in living tableaus at Keller Hall gym.

Three UK Honor Societies Honor 24 Students and Leaders
Omicron Delta Kappa tapped Dr. Spencer D. Albright Jr and Clyde Ratcliffe Jr along with eight students. Mortar Board tapped nine Westhampton women, Pi Delta Epsilon tapped six journalism students, and Tau Kappa Alpha tapped one forensics student. Ratcliffe is Richmond City School Board member and founder of the TJ High School cadet corps. Albright holds degrees from Arkansas, Chicago and Texas, with multiple honorary memberships. The third annual Greek Week runs April 10 to 14 at Richmond College and the School of Business Administration. Trials begin Monday at 2 45 pm on Millhiser Field with top three finishers advancing to main events Thursday.
