PBK Misses Hon Frederick Gantt in Election Flap

Muir Loses Life In Navy V-12 Unit at University of Richmond
Lt. Howard P. Muir executive officer of the Navy V-12 unit at the University of Richmond died in an on duty incident last Saturday night. He served two years as an officer, excelled as Athletic Officer guiding trainees in rope climbing and athletics, and supported men from dusk till dawn without personal participation. Dean Holtz signs with university finals orchestra
After a two week holdout for pay Dean Holtz and his Boogieing on the Downbeat orchestra have been recruited for Finals. The chairman of the dance committee cites an 86 piece band including five saxes four trumpets four trombones ten violins and four rhythms plus the Wolfers a promising quartet. Frankie Hackley the Voice will be the vocalist. Toots Peple and Charlie Barnet Loving will handle sax solos. Hot is also part of the lineup.

May Day Royal Ceremony At Richmond College
In a Saturday May Day celebration at Richmond College the May Court crowned Ewing after a public showing on the green. The Roman Theatre hosted a crowd that surged at 4:30 pm to witness coronation services and a spring themed program led by Coach Pitt. Dancers performed solos including Randolph Qoverbey with symbolic props, Bewley Upforth in a capital punishment piece, and Peter Cline led the chief solo.

Honor Council Arraigns Keller On 3 Charges at Westhampton
The newly elected Westhampton College Honor Council chaired by Peggy Knighton held its first meeting to adjudicate May Kelley on three alleged offenses theft of a policeman's motorcycle and a milkman's wagon and the combined theft. The proceedings featured satire and mock punishment including confinement and a symbolic hanging from a dining balcony.
