University to honor Eisenhower Nimitz with outside ceremony
University of Richmond will award honorary Doctor of Law degrees to General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Admiral Chester W. Nimitz at Cannon Memorial Chapel. To reach attendees outside the 800 seat chapel, a public address system will relay the program with local radio WRVA WMBG and WLEE carrying live coverage.

Interfrat Council Schedules Inexpensive Spring Dance
The Interfraternity Council hosts an anti inflation Spring Dance tomorrow in Milhiser gymnasium at 60 cents per person. The new campus band led by L. L. McGee will debut, offering high quality music despite the low price. Chancellor McGee notes the event targets broad student turnout with faculty chaperones Mrs. Sherman Grable, Mr. Grable, Mrs. Crenshaw, and Mr. Crenshaw. Ralph Shotwell predicts strong stag interest and a pathway to future similar events.

The University of Richmond will host a national ceremony at Cannon Memorial Chapel as General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Admiral Chester W. Nimitz receive honorary Doctor of Laws degrees. The event will be broadcast coast to coast on 191% ABC stations via WRNL Richmond and captured by newsreel photographers for movie viewings. Dr. Douglas Southall Freeman will present the leaders, with degrees conferred by President I. W. Boatwright.

University of Richmond announces present students have first priority for summer session enrollment. Total limit 750. remaining spots go to former Richmond students including returning veterans and a few teachers. Four enrollment categories set by a committee. catalogues due in April. Summer terms run June 7 to July 19 and July 20 to August 30. Dean W L Prince serves as summer session head.
