Solon B. Cousins Jr named president and Willard Osborn vice president as RC votes 227 cast for six officers and four senators. Treasurer election narrows to O J Graham Jr. and Edward C Haake. Interfraternity Council posts $853 deficit at Midwinters Dance
Ralph Shotwell, chairman of the Dance Committee, announced that the Interfraternity Council ran a deficit of 853 dollars on the recent Midwinters Dance. He said an assessment of 1.50 dollars would be collected from each fraternity man and each veteran who signed the contract.

Ninety Men Accept Bids From NRC Fraternities
Ninety Richmond College men pledged to eleven social fraternities this week. Kappa Sigma led with 23 new members, Phi Delta Theta 16, Lambda Chi Alpha and Theta Chi 11 each, followed by Phi Kappa Sigma, Kappa Alpha, and Phi Alpha with six apiece, then Sigma Phi Epsilon and Phi Gamma Delta with four, Sigma Alpha Epsilon with three, and Pi Kappa Alpha among others with smaller counts.

Richmond College Dean Ray mond B. Pinchbeck says World War II veterans raise scholastic standards after rust is off.
