Westhampton seniors hostesses for Hospitality Weekend entertain thirty five to forty visiting high school students during March 20 weekend. Program led by Rut Parker includes puppet party, marionette troupe, and string numbers with music by F Maxington Harker. Saturday dance features Ed Harris orchestra and introduces Margaret Mitchell as tag president. guests include Richmond College sports captain and their dates.

Annual Begins New Campaign for 1936 Web Annual

The 1936 Web annual starts subscription close next Wednesday. Thomas Taylor says sections are with the printer and only subscribed copies will be printed. Westhampton College students have 100 percent subscriptions, while total signed orders are 123. Contingent fees are not accepted due to delivery delays and bookkeeping.

The Collegian announces a weekly campus survey to pick the most popular song among University of Richmond students and connected colleges. It notes the current Suecky Strike Hit Parade broadcast nationwide and compares campus interest with other schools' approaches.

McNeill Law Society elects officers for next year

At its March meeting the McNeill Law Society elected W. E. Rogers president A. W. Staples vice president and D. D. Williams secretary treasurer for the next school year. It invited five members H. H. Davis Fred Timberlake F. T. Kingdon J. A. Alexander and M. A. Eyre to membership. The Grace Methodist Church v Williams decision was handed down upholding a binding church subscription and reversing the lower court.

Student Heads Plan Banquet and Ball Next Week

Formal installation of the new student government officers will take place at a banquet on Saturday March 28 at Franklin Terrace followed by a dance in Millhiser Gym. Russell Tate oversees the banquet with talks by Dr N P Mitchell and student leaders. Roy Dennis orchestra will play for the dance and tickets are managed by Roger Paga.

Dr. Hundley Wiley sociology professor from Shang hai China will speak at Can non Memorial Chapel during the weekly Vesper service next Sunday evening. The University Choir will direct music and sing several anthems.

Co-ords Plan Concert Trip With Westhampton Glee Club

Westhampton College Glee Club will travel to Harrisonburg College on April 15 and 16 to compete in the state Music Festival. Competent judges will decide the winner from three selections including The Nightingale and the Rose The Old Woman and the Peddler and Maples. Director Mrs Flaxington Harker leads the group with Margaret Harris as president and a list of club officers and members.
