Richmond area students from BC WC and other colleges will meet Saturday March 25 at 8 p m at an announced campus venue. Mortar Board Induction Inspires Westhampton Seniors
On Monday night March 18 at 7 15 in Cannon Memorial Chapel Westhampton College held its annual Mortar Board candle tapping. Betsy Rice led the ceremony and the junior inductees Kay Hanley Frances Wolf Rita Muldowney Billy Jane Crosby Noris Hedgepeth carried candles. Ann Clark was chosen as next year s president and received the lights from Betsy Rice. Ann Fisher Betty Lawson Katherine Mumma and Alma Rosenbaum were also inducted in order.

University V-12 Revue Promises Vaudeville Style Tonight
University Players directed by Professor Alton Williams present an eight thirty revue at the Playhouse featuring talent from Richmond Westhampton and Navy units. Highlights include Bitsy Rosenbaum led chorus James Boogey Worrell band and Monroe and Sheppard with Dot Monroe song. A Jitterbug contest closes the show with Navy and chorus participants. The Epsilon Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa tapped three Richmond College men for leadership and scholarship. Frederick Lusby of Arlington Oscar Rhodenhiser Osaka and Omar Mardan Richmond joined the national fraternity founded at Washington and Lee in 1915 with the local circle established in 1921.

The Thirty Nine Steps starring Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll was shown in the chapel on Wednesday night March 8 for United War Relief under the S.OC Mitchell Literary Society. Over 800 civilian and Naval students attended and more than 20 dollars were raised. The Movie Committee announced that seven remaining pictures scheduled for upcoming Wednesdays would be postponed sine die.
