Tom Farmer Speakers At Y M C A Meeting

The Y M C A Program Committee invited Tom Farmer, a reformer and former train robber, to address about 186 students after Randolph Macon debate. He spoke of his life, conversion, and urging others to dedicate their lives to Christ, with plans for a campus talk. Officers will be elected Thursday night to lead the Y M C A for the coming year.

Debaters Win for Randolph Macon in Min Wage Ruling

The annual Randolph Macon versus Richmond College debate on a minimum wage law ended with the negatives defeating the affirmative. W R Truett and J R Saunders led Randolph Macon while BE N Gardner and J N Sutton spoke for Richmond College. Judge panel included Speaker Cox and C J Sands.
