Dick Bricker won the SBA presidency on the Independent ticket, defeating Fred Combs. Bricker will lead with eight officers including Frank Foley as vice-president and Don Henderson as secretary. 196 of 218 voters participated. Bricker, a Richmond native, is 23, married with two children.

After multiple changes the Richmond College SGA confirms Percy Sledge will sing in Millhiser Gym from 7 to 9 pm on March 11. Ticket prices range 3 dollars per couple in advance, 4 at the door, with stay tickets 2 in advance and 3 at the door.

Bloodsworth Withdraws from Richmond College Speaker Race
Ric Bloodsworth has withdrawn from the Richmond College Student Government race for Speaker of the House after failing to meet constitutional requirements. Independent candidate Henry Fizer remains unopposed. Bloodsworth did not hold a degree by year end and lacks 70 hours of college work as of the election next Tuesday.
