Honest Religion REW Set for February 9 14
University Religious Emphasis Week runs February 9 through 14 with morning afternoon and evening seminars and convocations. Five religious leaders and a housewife will participate including Mrs. Robert Denny Dr. A T Mollegen Dr Samuel D Proctor Dr Eric C Rust and Mrs Lloyd Neil. Chairmen Nelson Lankford and Dr William Smith with Nancy Mitcham coordinate a program linking active religion to modern secular problems. Twenty students serve on the planning committee.

Revisions Made In Constitution At Westhampton College
The College Council unanimously approves a four point constitutional revision at Westhampton College. Students will vote on Feb 7. Changes create an Executive Board and a senate to replace the college council. The president of the association gains cabinet level powers and checks on authority core to governance.

Pulitzer Prize winner Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr will open the Dimension ’69 series at Westhampton on February 24. The author and historian, linked with City University of New York and a former OSS member, is described as a “superstar” hired to boost instant stature and engage young adults in national government.
