Interfraternity Council forms Open House aimed at better relations

The Interfraternity Relations Committee, drawn from all non dance committee members, will promote social ties among fraternities with events like Open House Week, small athletics, and an open banquet. Members debate a rush plan, while four Midwinter Dances sponsors will receive Greek letter favors bearing the Epsilon Tau Epsilon insignia.

University Glee Club to Sing at Southern Baptist Convention

The University Glee Club has been selected to perform at the Southern Baptist Convention on May 13 with about 6 000 Baptists expected. Members are polishing songs as finishing touches complete the program. President Haug announces a new musical program over WRVA in February and regular Sunday evening chapel performances.

Four Added To YMCA Senior Cabinet Induction Held

Jimmy Baggs Bragdon Bowling and Walter Gillette joined the senior YMCA Cabinet by President Curtis Haug in the Y Building. Frank Cosby was named to the Cabinet but not present at the ceremony. A Freshman Cabinet was formed with Bid Sinar as president George Roberts as vice president and Joe Vornom as secretary.

Members of the Ministerial Association hold a weekly devotional in the college Refectory inviting students. The service occurs every Wednesday from 7 30 to 8 00 o clock in the evening.

Accounting Club Charter Sought

A petition to Dean Pinchbeck seeks a new Richmond College Accounting Club. Professor Wray assists many accounting students in forming the club. A local businessman will speak monthly, first talk on February 8 morning. Regular meetings are set for the second Tuesday and fourth Wednesday each month. Bob White chairs the Program Committee and will select three members to help arrange programs.
