Virginia North Carolina colleges form intercollegiate sports confab
Twelve colleges from Virginia and North Carolina meet next Tuesday at the Richmond Hotel Old Colony Club room to discuss intercollegiate sports. Athletic Director Frank M. Dobson of the University of Richmond leads the effort to form a regional association with rules on entrance, scholarships, residence, and contracts.

University Song Writing Contest Extended Deadline

One Third to Pass Virginia Bar Exam Spiders
Forty eight embryo lawyers and lawyerettes recently passed the Virginia State Bar examination with fifteen taught by the T C Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. Two young women from the school succeeded in passing, while two thirds of the successful candidates from the school had only about a year of training.

Prizes Offered in Editorial Contest at University
The 1921 22 Intercollegiate Editorial Contest announced by Pi Delta Upsilon invites all male undergraduates in the US and Canada to write on The Practical Value of a Cultural Education. Gold silver and bronze medals will go to the three best articles, with a Certificate of Merit to the top winner at each institution. Professors Handy Astrop and Dr Keller supervise the contest.

Big Elevens on Grid Program for 1922 Schedule
The University of Richmond outlines a nine game football schedule for 1922 starting September 30 and ending Thanksgiving Day. Opponents include Lafayette College Virginia Maryland Purman University and other smaller teams. Athletic Director Frank M. Dobson and Reeves of Lafayette considered three dates but only the last Saturday in September remained available for a Richmond home game. Reeves later doubled his offer after Dobson said the game could not be played.

Senior play production shifts to Dramatic Club direction
The Dramatic Club will oversee this year’s Senior play with cast chosen from Seniors. The event is planned for the winter term, replacing the usual winter Dramatic Club production and possibly serving in place of the spring commencement exercises. Try-outs for the cast will be held soon.
