Westhampton Dance Adopts Silver Bells Theme
Westhampton’s annual Christmas dance, sponsored by the Athletic Association, will be held in Keller Hall Gym tomorrow night. The gym will feature blue crepe paper, hanging silver bells, a large silver bell with a red bow, a silver and blue mural, a blue Christmas tree, a gala bandstand, and music by the Collegians. Tickets cost $2.50 per couple.

Richmond Novice Debaters Shine at Temple Tourney
A University of Richmond novice debate team joined 58 eastern schools at Temple University. The negative pair Roland Brandi and Walter Griggs went undefeated, earning decisions over Penn, Dartmouth, Temple, and American. The affirmative team Jay Bond and Ed Shiver posted four wins, giving Richmond a school record of six wins and two losses. No school rankings were released.

Girls Decorate for Prize at Westhampton Open House
The Westhampton Christmas Open House will be held next Monday in North and South Courts with a 3 to 5 tea in Keller Hall. All Westhampton students are invited to attend as doors are judged for originality and design with a $1.50 material limit. Lynne Stephenson leads the event.

Tucker’s Duel Story Published in Georgia Review

Tucker assistant professor of English at the University of Richmond has had his account of the Cumming McDuffie Duel and Richard Henry Wilde accepted for publication in the winter issue of the Georgia Review.
