Richmond College To Require Housemothers Next Year

The University of Richmond board approved three resolutions compelling each fraternity with a residential house to hire a full time housemother approved by the administration, maintain financial records audited by the university, and provide university medical services to house residents. Dean Raymond B. Pinchbeck urged the move saying it was long overdue.

Eleven Students Receive AMC Bids At RC Assembly

Alpha Mu Omicron extended membership bids to eleven Richmond College students at the regular assembly. New candidates include H A Blackley Hatcher Elliott Austin Grigg J F Hart J H Hill Luther Jenkins C B Lipscomb Randolph Parrish Dorsey Dawlings Edward Snown and Carl iom Whitlatch. They are urged to attend a meeting December 11 at 2 PM in Room 1 of the Administration building.

Puppeteers Present A New Christ Child On Campus

The Marionette Repertory group on the University of Richmond campus revamps its annual Christmas play The Christ Child with a new score figures costumes and scenes. The December 17 performance in the Chapel will be by card only admission.

University of Richmond Football Banquet Set for December 14

The University of Richmond will hold a football banquet on Thursday December 14 at 6 30 PM in Hotel Richmond. William F Cole will serve as toastmaster and President F W Boatwright will be the principal speaker. Four trophies will be awarded including best blocker line best blocker backfield best tackler and most valuable player of the season chosen by the Quarterback Club.

Former Professor To Address Chapel

Dr. Dice R. Anderson, president of Wesleyan College for Women in Macon Georgia, will address the regular convocation at Cannon Memorial Chapel. He is Randolph-Macon College alumnus with a PhD from the University of Chicago and previously taught history at the University of Richmond from 1909 to 1920 and led Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg.
