YWCA Sponsors Threefold Christmas Plan for Kilbourne Farm

The Westhampton YWCA will sponsor three Christmas activities for the underprivileged this season. A December 14 trip to Kilbourne Farm features a Christmas program and gift boxes for Kilbourne girls, average age 16, with two volunteers assigned for one girl. The event includes a reader led story and Glee Club music, then Kilbourne girls perform. Volunteers sign up on the VW bulletin board, noting transportation options.

Bronze Cover Chosen for 1942 Web Yearbook

Editor Lee Saunders announces the 1942 Web yearbook is in final writing stages with a deep wine cover and bronze lettering. Budget cuts of about 600 reduce total to 4000, lowering production costs and pages while favoring economy and informality. Merin Baliban and Pierce Ellis coordinate group and individual photos with sessions starting next Wednesday.

School Ring Ordering Event in Westhampton

A representative will be in the Westhampton Blue Room Tuesday from 12 30 to 2 P.M. to take orders for school rings. Those interested are asked to attend.

Frances Ellis to reign at Westhampton Junior Prom

Frances Ellis a Westhampton College junior from Waynesboro will be crowned Queen of the Prom tonight by Major James Anthony of the John Marshall Cadet Corps after the grand march and figure at Richmond College Junior Prom. Burt Repine and his band will play as the coronation occurs at Millhiser Gym. The figure and kiss finale follow a 11 o'clock march timed with a WRVA broadcast. Final decor and practice details are set with student leaders and chaperones listed.

ODK Plans Second Annual Christmas Charity Ball

The Epsilon Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa will host the second annual Christmas Charity Ball in the third week of December per President Bob Cotten. Last year eleven social fraternities joined the Christmas Mother program of the City of Richmond to sponsor the event. Admission will be a small supply of groceries and 15 cents, with a boy or girl break affair.
