Seniors Attend Grumpy Play in Richmond
University of Richmond seniors attended the production Grumpy at the Woman's Club last Saturday night in a body. A special car left Stop 30 at 7 15 and made the trip to town uninterrupted. The World Court Group at the University of Richmond plans a student poll in the chapel. PIDER BAND will broadcast a program by radio through Edgeworth Station WRVA of Larus Brothers Company in Richmond during the winter term. Strenuous practices begin after Christmas holidays. The fall term practice was held last Monday and uniforms expected before the Thanksgiving game failed to arrive. Students say the band made a fine impression at the Spider Indian contest.

University Actors Stage Grumpy to Warm Richmond Audience
About four hundred attended the University of Richmond Players fall production Grumpy in the Woman's Club auditorium. James Carver gave a strong turn as Grumpy while Eleanor Physioe impressed as Virginia Bullivant. Y. McDaniel stood out as the hero opposite Miss Physioe. Chappell Hosts Debating Club Supper at Westhampton
Mrs. R C Chappell professor of English at Westhampton College hosted an informal supper for the Debating Club members Sunday evening. Guests relaxed by a cheerful fireplace before a delicious plate supper and plans for the club were discussed. Tryouts after Christmas were decided to select debaters for intercollegiate contests.
