Rod Figures To Represent The Nativity At University Vespers
Rod figures marionettes will debut at the University Vespers on Sunday at 7 00 p m in Cannon Memorial Chapel. The five act Nativity program uses umbrella rib rods and features carol based cantata music with Gra Wendt Hazel Tone Mosguest harpist and student string quartet. The choir from Westhampton and Richmo College Glee Clubs will perform under Mrs Edith Harkins direction as a Goth themed stage covers the rostrum.

The program features a quartet Ed Hosack first tenor Herb Holloway second tenor Jack Noffsinger baritone Curtis Haug bass performing Who Did and Massa Dear. Informal items include trombone solo Tom Brogan baritone solo Tivius Wicker and George Rumney’s light phantom arrangement. There is a reform at Houston Hall for student activities and a self supporting student union with shops and a cafeteria. The December issue of The Collegian includes campus poetry reviews books and humorous pieces by Royall Brandis and Paul Lavnier and features new writers Howard Barnwell Walker Jr and Kira Nicholsky.

Freshmen To Plant Trees At Westhampton Campus
Westhampton class of 1941 holds a tree planting ceremony next Wednesday at 12 30. About a dozen trees will be presented by President Jeanne Huffman and planted by Dr. Boatwright at the hilltop overlook by the lake. The rest will follow. University community urged to attend.

The Junior-Freshman event marks friendship between classes with a play about a Westhampton girl. The ceremony Friday December 10 at 7 15 pm in the College Government room Women’s Activities Building.
