Campus Carnival Opens At 7 30 P M Tomorrow
Campus Carnival at University of Richmond opens tomorrow night at 7 30 with side shows booths and shooting galleries in Millhiser gymnasium. Omicron Delta Kappa president Paul Saunier says doors stay open until midnight with ten cent admission and door prizes every hour. Proceeds last year exceeded 350 dollars from 800 attendees benefiting the alumni fund for a student center. Over twenty five acts will perform including fraternity acts and student government groups with prizes including a free shampoo and finger wave and a cleaning job.

Copies of the Crew petition a Senate letter asking Crew recognition and a letter from Tommy Bruno representing the Crew were given to Athletic Council members and college officials yesterday. About 450 students, roughly three quarters of the student body, have signed the petition.

Bar Group Names 7 New Members
Seven men were named to membership in the Student Bar Council of the University of Richmond Law School at a recent election. In the First Circuit T Crouch of Richmond and Henry B Hathaway of White Stone won over EB Lee Copley Jr of Richmond J Hutt of Neenah Va and Thomas W. Isbell Jr of Richmond. Second Circuit posts went to Lydon Harrell Jr Norfolk Ligon Jones Hopewell and Milton Pickus Beckley W Va over their rivals. Third Circuit members are J L Savage Jr Fredericksburg and John T Wasson Jr Wytheville with George Shields Charlottesville defeated. Installation date not yet selected.

Frank G. Louthan of Richmond was named to the University of Richmond Board of Publications to fill the vacancy created by the death of Dr L H Walton. Walton served as board president. Louthan earned a 1910 University B A and 1913 LL B from Williams Law School and is a class representative in the Alumni Society.
