Reams to Speak at Oregon Skin Biology Symposium
Dr Willie M Reams Jr associate professor of biology will speak at the Oregon Regional Primate Research Center symposium Biology of Skin The Pigmentary System April 21 25 under the University of Oregon Medical School and U S Public Health Service auspices His paper Pigment Cell Population Pressure Within the Skin and Its Role in the Pigment Cell Invasion of Extraepidermal Tissues is among 30 papers to be preserved by an international pigment cell group The symposium volume will appear as Advances in the Biology of Skin volume eight published by Pergamon Press Research funded by the National Science Foundation the Virginian Academy of Science and the University of Richmond Research Fund He holds a Richmond Virginia origin BS from University of Richmond and PhD from Johns Hopkins University He has taught at Medical College of Virginia and Louisiana State University and is listed in American Men of Science Leaders of American Science and Who s Who in the South and Southeast

Dos Passos to Visit Campus as Boatwright Lecturer
American author John Dos Passos will arrive Monday for a five day Boatwright lecturer residency. He will open with an 8:30 PM lecture in Keller Hall and hold student conferences and classes through Friday, discussing modern novel techniques and U.S. history.
