Moncure Wins Presidency in UR Law School Elections
The Representative Party swept all four student government offices at the Tl. CG Williams School of Law as 150 of 160 voters chose their leaders. Dick Moncure won the presidency by 14 votes over John Bareford, with Bill Patterson becoming vice president and Walther B. Fidler also elected. Coats edged Honest Jim Minor for secretary after a late swing in support. Joel Fender defeated L. Paul Byrne for treasurer amid street campaign tactics and party ballots.

Richmond will argue the negative on federal world government and face Princeton University in a recent decision before Rotary. Boston College Over Enrollment Splits Student Activities Across Campus
A Boston College visit reveals scattered student life due to veteran returns and higher enrollment without a student union. The Heights, the yearbook, literary magazine, bands, debating teams Fulton and Marquette, and other groups operate from several estates and the Tower Building. Richmond College to vote on revised constitution May 4
Stuart Massie president of Richmond College Student Government announced elections for class officers will be held in the playhouse on Tuesday May 4. Voters will approve or disapprove the revised constitution and select three additional senators based on one at large per 200 students. If approved by two thirds the new senators begin in September. nominations close April 21 at 12:30.

The Virginia Intercollegiate Press Association event in Lynchburg concluded with awards for William and Mary Flat Hat and Randolph-Macon Women’s College Tatler. The 1948 Web yearbook will be dedicated to Joseph E. Nettles University public relations director and alumni secretary and to Herman Fleming editor of the yearbook. Nettles is a 1930 graduate who returned to the University in 1936 after work with Newport News Daily Press and the Associated Press. He has held leadership roles in several fraternities and honor societies.

Revised Charter To Be Presented For RC Approval
The Richmond College Student Government Association introduces a revised constitution to the student body. Lectures and literature outline changes before elections on May 4. Three additional senators will be voted on, taking office next September if adopted.
Judges Named For Exhibition At University of Richmond
Three judges were named for the first annual University of Richmond Photographic Exhibition to run May 3 through May 7 in the Library. Wirt Wills, exhibition chairman, listed A L Dementi of Dementi Studios Joseph Colognori chief photographer for the Richmond News papers and James Bullard owner of the Richmond Camera Shop and president of the Richmond Camera Club as judges. A fourth judge has been asked but not yet accepted.
