Marionette Show To Feature Voice Of Negro Student
The Virginia Union University marionette department will present a triple bill on April 26 at St Catherine's auditorium. Francis Foster a Negro student will record for the reading of James Weldon Johnson Creation to be read by the puppetry department under Mr Richard Scammon. Admission is 26 for students and 50 cents for outsiders. The program includes The Taming of the Mew and An American Indian Ballet. A cyclorama feature uses colored lighting to create depth and a sky-like background.

Installation of ORWC Student Officers at Westhamption College
Last Monday at Westhamp ton College chapel the new College Government officers were installed after a council procession. Ninita Gonzalez, new head of College Government, and Laura Jenkins, new Honor Council chair, were sworn in by Margaret Brittingham. New College Council members include Betsy Rice and Betty Anne Petzinger, among others, with Laura Jenkins chairing Residence Council and Ethne Flanagan and Frances Badenoch leading student groups.
