Fire damages limited at George Brinks home
Firemen answered a call to George Brinks residence Tuesday evening after a fuel oil heater leaked, causing burning oil to spill on the basement floor. The blaze was extinguished by extinguishers before the fire department arrived, causing no serious damage.

212 Receive Free X-Rays Tuesday in Boyden
Authorities report 212 people were x-rayed last Tuesday in Boyden with 125 from Boyden and 5 from out of state who used the free service. The mobile clinic will return next Saturday and residents are urged to participate.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Marcia Sue Rozeboom of Sheldon who died Monday morning after a months illness. Born August 4, 1951 in Sheldon she was 2 years 1 month 22 days old. Survivors include her parents a brother four months old and grandparents in Sheldon and Boyden. Burial followed at East Lawn cemetery.
