Tuberculosis Patch Tests Reach Sioux County Schools
In Sioux County 2147 students and staff in grades 1 5 9 and 12 were tested in a TB patch program. Mrs Margaret Van Engen R N Hull Iowa led with volunteer nurses and mothers helping. One hundred forty eight histories were recorded and 92 people referred for large X rays. Funds came from the Sioux County Tuberculosis and Health Association via the Christmas Seal campaign.
