Boyden Joyous Peace News Triggers Largest Celebration Yet
At about 3 45 A M on Armistice day Boyden townspeople flooded the streets in a grand peace celebration. Bells rang as crowds paraded while a bonfire lit Main Street. The Kaiser's funeral was held at 2 PM led by Dr Axton with a children’s parade and decorated autos. An evening gathering at the school gym featured speeches by local ministers and leaders.
