Council Proceedings Boyden Iowa May 6 1940s Meeting Notes
The Boyden council met in the mayor's office led by Mayor Rouwenhorst with councilmen De Jong Schreuder Delievers Milazgar present and Ray Smit absent. Bills were approved for payment from General and Road funds and the water and power departments. A bond list was approved for officials, a cigar permit granted, and a 1930 Chevrolet bid process authorized. Fire department changes included a new fireman appointment and a fire truck purchase with donations to fund equipment.
