Memorial Day Observed in Boyden Program With Legion

Boyden will observe Memorial Day May 30 with a town hall program led by the Monster Post of the American Legion and other helpers. Ex servicemen of World War are urged to attend in uniform at 1 PM. the program begins at 2 PM with Rev. Burgess of Rock Rapids giving the address. The ceremony includes invocation by Dr. W. T. McConnell, songs, quartet, solo, address, benediction, and the Star Spangled Banner. A notice requests debt balance settlement to secure votes for all of it.
