The Henry Eggink general merchandise store burned down last Tuesday about 4 30 am. Only the Eggink furniture survived in the east end. Inventory was about 25000 with 20000 insured. building insured for 7000. Eggink planned a large sale and had advertising in progress. He has not decided on future plans.

George Hospers nine year old son of Mr and Mrs Cornelius G Hospers of Orange City was smothered in a cave at Lake Okoboji on Wednesday morning June 22 he was buried by a collapsing bank he played with Donald Dunlop of Orange City and Bobby Mead of Des Moines Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the Hospers home in Orange City
