Granville defeated Boyden Co-ops 15 2 in the consolation game as Rosenboom pitched four innings before Scholten finished. Hull vs Alton finals were postponed due to rain after a strong Hull effort in a prior round game against Boyden.

Northwes t Bell Telephone announces a 34 000 extension project in Sheldon as part of a 300 000 regional upgrade. R F Macheak says the work includes 21 new long distance circuits to 12 nearby communities and enhanced Sheldon Central Office facilities aimed to meet rising call volume by mid July with full completion by fall.
Miss LeRue Morrison of Hollywood California traveled from Cedar Rapids Saturday and stayed several days with Mrs Nell Van den Brink. Miss Dora Vanden Brink and Miss Morrison departed Wednesday for their Hollywood home.
