Dethmers 80 Acre Farm Sells for 232 per Acre
The H S Dethmers 80 acre farm at the northwest edge of Boyden sold Wednesday to Siebren DeBoer near Hull for about 232 dollars per acre. Possession is set for March 1 1928 with Benj Meylink of Hull arranging the deal. It follows Har man Bros purchase of an eighty at 240 per acre last week.

Sioux County 4 H Girls Set for Iowa State Fair Demonstrations
Farm girls from Sioux county will compete with champion teams from ninety eight Iowa counties for the 4 H Club championship at the Iowa State Fair. Two girls from each county enter the competition in four judging topics Clothing Home Furnishing Bread Making and Canning. The Sioux team will demonstrate Home Furnishing and bread making histories and new methods with museum quality exhibits.

Poultry Buyers License Law Aims at Thief Suppression
New license law took effect July 4 requiring all poultry buyers to obtain a license and keep purchase records with details of date seller name residence and poultry description. Secretary M G Thornberg says the measure will aid law enforcement in stopping poultry thefts.
