Charles Waldo Brink of Granville married Alma Jansen of Alton on New Year's Day in Elk Point South Dakota. Brink, grandson of Dr. and Mrs. M. Brink, is cashier at the Bank of Granville. he served overseas in World War I and is a Past Commander of the Henry Marx Post American Legion. The couple will reside in Granville and Alma will continue teaching at Alton until year’s end.

Auxiliary Hold Annual Meeting at Sheridan Township
The Sheridan Township FB Auxiliary met in their annual gathering above the Farmers Lumber yard. Officers elected: Mrs. T J Stientjes President Mrs Henry Schloetje Vice President Mrs George Meyners Secretary and Treasurer. The president outlined a third year sewing course and Henrietta DeGroot spoke on the Ames 4 H short course praising twelve Sioux county girls for their interest and conduct. Publicus Chairman. Boyden High School Wins Two From Sioux Center
Boyden high school basketball teams defeated Sioux Center on the local floor Friday evening. The girls won 16 to 14 and the boys 15 to 12. Both games were fast and evenly matched with no dull moments. Boyden will host Rock Valley in a double header on Friday January 15. Come out to support.
