Funeral services held for Gerrit Vanden Brink in Boyden
Gerrit Van den Brink 79 of Boyden died February 13 1957 after a lingering illness. Services were at his home and First Reformed Church with Rev. Henri Steunenberg officiating. Hymns were sung by family selections, burial in Boyden Cemetery. He was born July 4 1877 in Ermeloo Netherlands came to the United States as a child and spent most of his life in Boyden. Surviving are four sons Gerrit Jr and Jess Adel Ida, Theodore of Knoxville and J of Adel a sister Mrs Gertrude Rowenhorst Hospers six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was a long time member of the First Reformed Church of Boyden.
