The Men s Chorus of the First Reformed Church of Hull performed at United Presbyterian Church Sunday evening. Funeral services held for Gerrit Vanden Brink in Boyden
Gerrit Van den Brink 79 of Boyden died February 13 1957 after a lingering illness. Services were at his home and First Reformed Church with Rev. Henri Steunenberg officiating. Hymns were sung by family selections, burial in Boyden Cemetery. He was born July 4 1877 in Ermeloo Netherlands came to the United States as a child and spent most of his life in Boyden. Surviving are four sons Gerrit Jr and Jess Adel Ida, Theodore of Knoxville and J of Adel a sister Mrs Gertrude Rowenhorst Hospers six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was a long time member of the First Reformed Church of Boyden.
