Northwestern College Orange City Iowa will face the winner of the Clinton Keokuk game in the Iowa State Junior College Basketball Tournament on Thursday February 18 at 2 00 pm broadcast from Webster City over station KLEM. Entries are coming in for the science fair at Westmar College with a March 19 deadline for postmarks February 19 1960. Seventh through twelfth graders compete for scholarships and awards including the William C Nell Science scholarship to the top senior and top three in both divisions. The Sioux County Youth Fair Board, meeting in February, outlined plans for the August 8–11 fair in Sioux Center. The Royal United Show will headline the midway and evening programs on August 9 and 10, sponsored by the Youth Fair and County Farm Bureau, with Thursday evening activities aided by the Sioux Center Civic Club. Up to 3500 in premiums was approved, including 1300 for the Girls division and additional payments for wood working plant collections insect collections forestry and electrical projects.

Three officers of the Boyden Creamery board were empowered at a February 11 meeting to pursue sale merger or consolidation of the cooperative. Joe A. Horn Walter W.
