The Boyden Co operative Creamery annual meeting at Town Hall heard a strong report and discussed rotating director terms. Balloting named C Vandranger and Peter Kruse for three-year posts, Henry Schloetje and H Kortekamp for two years, and Dick DeGroot for one year.

Borelars 2 Yeggs Bust In Front Doors Of Businesshouses

Two thieves forced front doors of local businesses and stole a small amount of change, while a nearby post office safe yielded a larger sum. Authorities suspect the incident may be the work of a bum gang as investigations begin. The annual meeting of Boyden Co operative Association is scheduled for February 16, 1988 at the Town Hall, inviting all stockholders and patrons.

Milk program committee backs home questionnaire plan

Supt Lack outlined the milk program at the High School and Mr Ver Hoef advised on bottling costs. Wm Wargowsky spoke on pasteurization and the Creamery machine. The group decided to send a milk questionnaire to homes and report to their organizations on budgeting. Town Council Holds February 8 1938 Meeting Commands

Town Council met in the clerk’s office with Mayor McCrum presiding. They filled Pitstick’s vacancy with H I Bergman for the unexpired term, passed a death resolution, paid numerous bills, and accepted the January 1938 treasurer’s report. Donations of 47.19 for Christmas lights were acknowledged and light rates reduced effective February 1 1938.
