Boyden Iowa council in regular session approves 1924 poll tax at 3.00, insures the night fire house for 400 and contents for 200. January treasurer’s report shows receipts of 73.92 and disbursements of 207.84, leaving 4050.31. Also plans to purchase a shotgun for night watch and notes local ads and moving day notices.
