Orphans in the Netherlands Seek Clothing and Food
The First Reformed Church asks parishioners to donate used clothing or money for German orphans adopted for five to six months. Donations should be brought Thursday to Saturday to the furnace room in the church basement. cash gifts go to the parsonage and Mrs. Postma will forward them to the treasurer.

Mrs Wegter Breaks Arm in Fall at Hull Area Home
Mrs Gerrit Wegter fractured her arm Saturday after a fall at the home of her son Peter Wegter near Hull. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Sheldon for treatment and remained until Monday afternoon. Mr James Landhuis called from Los Angeles to check on his parents Mr and Mrs H J Landhuis and to speak with his brother and family.

Barn Fire Destroys Joe Horn Farm Barn
A Sunday night blaze at the Joe Horn farm two miles south of Boyden caused about 12500 in damage, destroying a barn with 16 Holsteins inside, four escaped, and hogs and oats losses reported. Firefighters arrived as the structure burned, with equipment and prize harnesses also ruined. The barn was insured.

Immunization Program Restart Planned at Local School
Plans for resuming Boyden Public School immunizations follow State Health Department and local doctor guidance.
