Stutzman Belling Celebrate Twenty Fifth Wedding Anniversary
The twenty fifth silver anniversary of Mr and Mrs J A Stutzman was celebrated at their home in Boyden on Saturday December 20 1919 with about one hundred invited guests. Dr W T McConnell delivered a talk as the couple renewed their vows and a formal dinner followed served by local women. The event honored a December 20 1894 marriage on the Belling farm and guests from nearby towns attended.

The Ben Grooters Closing Out Sale held last Thursday on his farm near Boyden proved successful. Most stock fetched good prices except pure bred cattle, which sold cheaply. Top price was 190 dollars for a milch cow. some pure bred cattle went under 100. Total sales about 5200 dollars. Auctioneer was Ben J. Meylink of Hull with W. H. Eddy and Steve Vanden Brink as clerks.
