Hull merchants close shops at 11 am for celebration with rides for children free ride tickets. American Legion sponsors Main Street concessions and Auxiliary serves lunches. Program includes pony and bicycle races, afternoon sports for children, variety acts, and horse races with $200 in prizes. Evening show by Hal Garvin Agency free. bleachers moved to Ball Park. Final prize drawing at 10 pm worth $125.00.

High school students may enter after 8:30 via the old building front door with rooms for Freshmen Sophomores study hall Juniors room 2 and Seniors room 7. Grade school students report at 9:00 with dismissal at 3:15 after brief announcements and book rental and hot lunch money collection. Rural schools open at 9:00 on August 29 with kindergarten and returning rural pupils attending their local schools.
