Public School Opens Monday September 2nd
The 1918-19 term of Boyden Public School begins Monday September 2nd. Parents should ensure children attend on time. Changes in the faculty are noted but operations aim to run smoothly. Airplane Demonstrations Aimed At Iowa State Fair
At the last day of the Iowa state fair August 30 exhibitors will stage air combat demonstrations. Brigadier General Lee and Captains Hammond Morris Haney will tour the Middle West with a squadron of British and American planes to perform forenoon and afternoon flights. The show will depict actual air fighting including attack and defense maneuvers.
