The Sioux County Board of Supervisors purchased a new motorized patrol for the Fourth District costing 2750 dollars, joining the old 11 year old equipment. The diesel powered unit features a single rear tire, a 16 ft mold board and canopy top. John Dykstra, who engineered the purchase, says the diesel engine will save the county compared with a gasoline powered patrol.
