Sioux County hosts a postponed homecoming with a parade set for 1:30 PM from the cattle grounds. Float numbers guide positions. program lists 1 Indian Sioux Center through 52 Peace with various towns, bands, and community groups. Free grounds entry, canteen service, and all day attractions on Government time.
Board of Education of the Public School of Boyden elected the 1919 1920 teaching staff. Scott T. Crosswaite of Earlham named superintendent for 7th 8th and 9th grades. Electees include Effie Dethmers high school, Gertrude Bossenbrook domestic science, Mary Triplett music, Erma Redfield 4th 5th 6th grades, Eleanor Quirk primary, Harriette Tate, with contracts not yet signed.
Drs. W H Myers J W Myers and F L Myers state work on their new hospital near Sheldon Iowa is advancing with materials and equipment on hand. The facility aims for completion around Oct 1 and will be privately managed and modern, not opposing but prioritizing their own project.
A Matlock area farm on the south edge of town sold for 430 an acre to G J Lousink of Hull Iowa. The Kane family bought the tract eight years ago for 116 an acre.
The Sioux County Board of Supervisors bought a 40 acre gravel land tract near Rock Valley for road gravelling and paving, with paving to start soon. W. R.
