Fire at Hull wipes block except several stores
A Tuesday evening blaze at Hull destroy s the implement shop and abatements along the east side. Fire fighters from Boyden, Sheldon, Sioux Center and Rock Valley aided, keeping the fire from the bakery and furniture firms. The total loss runs near fifty thousand dollars with about fifteen thousand covered by insurance.

Hull won the Dramatic class as Carolina Dykstra spoke Twenty five Years After. Boyden captured the Humorous class with Adeline Verrips delivering Katrinka s Travels.
