Mr John Bernsse and his partner were photographed Monday morning near Middleberg Iowa. Mr Beukelman recently bought an interest in the Standard Station and Cafe and, with Mrs Beukelman, formerly of Sioux City, now resides in Vernon Koeiker apartments. He died April 9, 1954, after living near Boyden and Middleberg most of life. He leaves one daughter Lovie Van Roekel of Hull from a prior marriage, another daughter Mrs Robert Boonstra of Orange City, three stepchildren, and nine grandchildren with one sister and three brothers. He was a longtime member of the First Reformed Church in Boyden. Pallbearers are listed.

Robert Moret Obituary Funeral Held at Local Church
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Robert Moret who died Friday evening at Grossman hospital after a several weeks illness. The Rev Henri Steunenberg officiated with interment at Boyden cemetery. Mrs Henri Steunenberg and Mrs Ray Smit sang two hymns. Born May 1 1881, he was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Wm Moret.
