Death of Clara Gearhart noted. services held in Hopkinton

Charles Schipull reported the death of his daughter Mrs Clara Schipull Gearhart in Kalamazoo Michigan. Funeral services were conducted Sunday with interment at Hopkinton Town. Gearhart, born on the Renwick area farm, was well known locally. relatives from Goldfield attended.

Services Held For Former Resident's Husband At Harcourt

Funeral services for Ed Schumpp were held at Harcourt Methodist Church. Mrs Schumpp, formerly Mayme Rier, lived east of Renwick with her family, later in Clarion where married, then the Schumpp family farmed near Harcourt. She survives with her son William.

Jeannie Hoveland Warms Community With Skincare Fight

Five year old Jeannie Hoveland daughter of Mr and Mrs Orville Hoveland was moved to University Children’s Hospital in Iowa City after severe burns from a trash fire at the family farm northeast of Renwick. She has endured extensive skin grafting since November 1958 and may need another year of hospital care. Community members are urged to send a card to encourage her during treatment.

Funeral Rites For Ames Relative At Eagle Grove
