Final Rites for Jesse Fisher Held Here
Funeral services for Jesse Lee Fisher 61 were conducted in the Methodist church with Rev Roy A. Biesemeyer presiding. Fisher died in a Fort Dodge hospital after a lengthy illness and was buried in Vernon cemetery.

Printer Speaks Obituary for Jesse Lee Fisher
Jesse Lee Fisher was born September 15 1897 in LaClede Iowa to William and Nancy Fisher. He married Hazel David in 1919 and later Olive Haugland in 1942, with four step children and several grandchildren. He worked in Renwick for 12 years and died October 14 1958 in Mercy Hospital Fort Dodge after illness. He is survived by his wife Olive two daughters and many relatives. The obituary ends with a note urging support for the Boy Scout drive as a charitable cause and a quip about a store sign.
